When sailing regularly, the lines and running rigging on your ILCA will be one of the first items to wear out. Being able to tune your ILCA dinghy in all conditions, across all points of sail is one of the first steps to sailing faster. To do this easily, you need to have your boat effectively set up, and have your blocks running smoothly, and your lines not creating any friction. The latter two often require you to purchase new blocks or lines to get that 'like new' feeling.
