ILCA Bow Eye

The bow eye is fitted to the bow of the boat and is used primarily used for attaching a centreboard shock cord. Although the Bow Eye is screwed in to a hardwood block in the ILCA Hull, it is not recommended to attach any load bearing lines to the Bow Eye. The Bow Eye is not to be used for towing an ILCA on the water, as this can result in damage to the hull.
