ILCA Boom Vang Plate

A metal fitting on the boom which connects the boom to the ILCA Turbo Vang System. As a result of large amounts of vang being used whilst sailing the ILCA in strong winds, the Boom Vang Plate can often become bent or distorted. This may lead to the plate breaking or the vang key slipping out whilst sailing. It is a good idea to check your boom fittings regularly to prevent any breakages before they happen on the water.
