ILCA Centreboard Set

ILCA centreboard complete - the centreboard is an integral part of any sailing boat providing the righting force needed for the boat to move forward instead of sideways. These centreboards are made of a polyester fibreglass resin, meaning that the boards are stronger, lighter and have a smoother finish.

The new model of ILCA centreboard includes a strip of pure epoxy on the trailing edge. Epoxy is a much stronger material than regular gel coat, and this prevents new centreboards from chipping as easily as they used to.

Having a brand new centreboard ensures that your boat will not be unnecessarily slowed down by scratches, dings and deteriorated finishes which come with older centreboards.
