Mast Top Plug for the ILCA Composite Top Section.
The ILCA Composite Top Section features a tapered composite tube section in order to match the bend profile of the ILCA Alloy Top Section. As a result, the Composite Top Section requires a different Top Plug to that used in the alloy section.ÂÂ
When fitting the Top Plug, you may notice that fitting is somewhat loose, and that the plug can slide in to the mast easily. If this is the case, we recommend using some sikaflex or super glue around the edges of the plug, to ensure it stays in the mast.
