ILCA Gooseneck

ILCA Gooseneck - fitted onto the lower mast section of any rig to allow the boom to connect to the mast. The Gooseneck is fitted to the ILCA Bottom Mast section via 6 stainless steel or Monel rivets. 

A small eye is machined in to the Gooseneck in which a twisted shackle can be used to attach a Ronstan 30mm Block as part of the ILCA Outhaul system. 

The high strain which is placed on the Gooseneck as a result of sailing in strong winds can lead to breakages over time. Be sure to frequently check your gooseneck for signs of wear or cracks.
